Happy 34th Birthday To Our MUSIC-MAN

This year we didn't have gathering here. Eveyone seems to be busy during this period.
As for me, I need to prepare the exam in next month. It is all my false that I didn't start studying earlier...hehee...blame myself. But I will try my best :P

Yesterday, 17-May, a great day of Homeboy and Homies!
We spammed our non-Homies friends' facebook with several birthday wishes for him :D
Music-Man now turned to Movie-Man, staying in the work shop the whole day on his birthday, making his latest directorial debut. But he didn't forget his fans. He still found the time to say hello to his facebooker fans from his facebook :)

Leehom's fans in China organized various social commomweal activities yesterday as the birthday gifts for him. Read the Sina News 數千歌迷為王力宏慶生做公益獻上特殊禮物 here :)
Actually the fans from other countries also always have the idea to do charity work or commomweal activities on his birthday or on the fan club's birthday. But in fact, it is not that easy to organize.

Proudly, we SG fans already started raising fund since yesterday May-17 for the kids from Shui Guan Primary School in Sichuan earthquake disaster area as a meaningful belated birthday gift for Music-Man. How meaningful it is! Time flies, it is now the 2nd anniversary of Sichuan Earthquake. Music-Man brings his love to those lovely kids through his music. He is a great role model of and a positive influence on us.

He is "successful & powerful".
I mean it not from the point of view of how much money he earns, nor how large his fan group is, but in terms of the extent of his influence upon the fans to do the good for the people, society and environment.

HK Trip Cancelled (OR) Postponed!

From another point of view, it is good also. Frankly, the trip was quite rush.
Now what I have to do is focusing on the exam. Exam is in next month but I just started studying last week :P I need to finish nearly 2 inches thick syllabus book. Let me challenge myself. But I don't know why, I am so sleepy after work and can't really concentrate. *Sign*
Anyway, I can only try my best.

Hong Kong Again!

这是我去年三月份和爸妈去香港、澳门旅游时拍的。

香港的夜景很美。特别是从星光大道看过去的景色。
白天的也不赖。

那一次的香港游，到过的景点并不多。但这一次，我想除了和朋友出去吃好料以外，并不会有太多时间逗留。我想，还会有下一次的机会啦 :D

Brand's Music Changes Lives (24-04-10)

Waiting for approximately 6 months, finally met high-spirited Leehom last week. From the 23rd to the 25th-Apr, very glad to see him smiling, laughing and talking. He looked good & energetic, and sometimes even acted cute. It makes us feel like we are friends :)

His arrival was quite rush. The way from the exit to his van was short. Anyway, very happy that his chubby cheeks came back again :D

He was under pressure and had a tough time while making his directorial debut. But it takes him to a new level of his career. Now we call him "Director Wang". We are damn PROUD of having him as our idol.

No matter how successful he is, he is modest, thougtful and respectful to people around him, no matter you are a big boss or just a cleaner. The airline hostesses who met him on the plane said that he always gives way to oldies and kids; always says "Thank you" whenever he needs their help; always with smiling face and never putting on airs. A fan told me that her friend happened to see him at an airport in China and saw him carrying an old lady on his back to the place she wanted to go because he saw her having difficulty to get of from the car or something.

In Shanghai, I met a friend of friend who was in charge of the project of the Heart Beat press conference at Shanghai World Financial Centre. She asked me if I am a Leehom's fan when she saw me carrying Bosideng bags. She isn't his fan and that was her first time working with him, but she gave him a really great compliment. She said 他人很 nice, 真的很 nice. To sum up, she said he is very polite, efficient, professional and down-to-earth. Unlike other celebrities, he doesn't have a bit of 明星架子。。。Thank her for her accompliment. Leehom does deserve it!

OK! Back to the topic, Leehom sang only one song "Heart Beat" at the event. He was singing so touchingly as usual. I love him shaking his head a bit while singing vibrato cause the mic was put on the stand.

Yay!!! I got his autograph this time. (I failed last time.)
I tried my luck at the departure for 3 of his '90s albums to be autographed.

LH: Ehh! 等一下厚！(To his PA) 可以帮我拿咖啡吗？(He was drinking coffee.)

Du Ming Han (杜明汉)

How??? I am still in Du Ming Han fever.
Most Homies are already excited about his Singapore trip next Saturday. ("Next Saturday"??? Sounds very near!!!!! :D)
But I am still busy with uploading, downloading and organizing filming photos and videos and still wanting to return to that day.

I took weeks to think if I should spend money on that trip or not. After the trip, I strongly feel that I made a right decision. I really feel fulfillment and relax. Otherwise, I would have more complaints about my present situation.

Monkey is cute, right :D Actually, we were told not to post any photos and videos about filming before the movie is out. But, I think sharing can start from now because news articles and video were out already. Anyway, the whole album will be posted on facebook only after the movie premier :)

Have been busy at work all the time. Work load has been almost doubled since end of last year. At the same time, I need to arrange time for study. Haiz!!! Time is just not enough. There are so many things I want to do. After Shanghai trip, I feel like travelling to another city again, but no $$$ :D Also want my parents to visit Singapore this year. Need to save up for this. But still not sure if I can make it. End of next month, May, is the time for paying my sister's tuition fee again (around S$2,500 excluding exam fee). Stressful!!!!!!

I am back with full of beautiful memories!

Back from Shanghai. It was a wonderful and exhilarating trip.
I wish I could return to 27th, the most unforgettable day in my life.
Never ever had I been dreaming that I could be able to be in a film with my dearest idol although I may appear only for a second or maybe can't even find me in the film :D Yet, watching him working, hearing him talking & singing, performing as his instructions, being amused at his antics & jokes........all these are still dwelling in my mind.

Except freezingly cold weather that we couldn't tolerate, everything was find. It was only 5 degree and we all were outdoors. But, no one wanted to go back when Leehom said the filming of our part was finished and we could go home already :D It finished before 1AM, which was much earlier than the planned time, ie 4AM. We really hoped there were more NGs ...hehee...but regreatfully (for us), the filming was smooth and it needed not more than 3 takes for each scene. Thankfully, we were allowed to stay back to watch Leehom filming because they could feel the fans' will :) So, we were just sitting there, keeping quiet and watching him filming under cold weather until we were chucked out around 2:30AM. The reason was the staff needed to tidy up the stadium. At that time, Leehom was backstage, and thus we even couldn't say goodbye to him.

There are so much things I would like to share. But, don't know how to. So, I think I'd better not say too much. :D Let's talk about Shanghai. It is a beautiful and crowded city. Foods are very yummy, cheap & with so many choices. Even foods from fast food restaurants are delicious. And the price is only half or one third of that in Singapore. One thing I dislike is that there are people smoking everywhere you go. The air isn't that fresh.

为自己任性一次

很忙！很忙！
最近真的很忙！

因为临时决定去上海。好多东西要准备。
考虑了好久我要不要去，但最后还是决定为自己任性一次。
明天就要飞了，昨天才拿到 visa。还好忙归忙，一切还蛮顺利的。
很期待这次的旅程。我会在上海多玩几天。
很开心可以跟朋友在那聚会。也很期待认识新朋友。
力宏说，因为我们，他的世界变得更宽广。
同样的，我的世界也是因为他而变得更多姿多彩，认识了不同国籍的“好”朋友。

上海！我来了。

Chinked-out Blog Header :D

My old blog header photo had disappeared quite a while ago. The blog template provider might have delected/removed it. How could that be happened?

Only now, I've created one. It was a tough job while you don't have photoshop installed. I could't be able to put effects as I like. It really took much of my time and effort for I could only use "Paint", sometimes "Nero Photo Snap". I am neither a photographer nor an expert on these softwares. The final outcome may not be perfect. But, I like it though :)

My blog theme is mainly about Leehom and the activities related to him and Ourhome Singapore. It would be better if the blog header matches with its theme :) That's what I think. So, what could represent Leehom? What could give you HOMie feel? The words that came into my mind were nothing but "Chinked-out", "Music", "Talents", "Instruments".

Chinked-out!!! For this, I googled different kinds of bamboo and plum photos. For "Music", I chose a violin picture which color just matches the blog color. Then, I tried to put them together on the canvas.

Talents! The best way to show it is using photos of playing different kinds of instruments. But it looked weird to put many pictures on it. So, I left few which I actually also wanted to add, like photos of him on xylophone, playing acoustic guitar, conducting orchestra, composing a song and so on.

A friend of mine said your blog can be used as another Ourhome SG blog. It is really very Homie. Hehee.....
I always proudly tell others that "I am a hug fan of Lee Hom."
I am proud to be a Homie :)

A Full-time Student Should:

1. Unplug the TV.
2. Abstain from computer/any games. (Shouldn't spend insane amount of time on your passtime.)
3. Get up early in the morning to go to school/ to study. (Better not later than 8 AM.)
4. Bring pocket note to revise your lessons on train or while waiting,
5. Schedule your study time for different lessons.
6. Do as you planned.
7. Ensure to achieve daily study targets.
8. Go to bed before 11PM except working days.
9. Never think that you are already working hard enough especially while you are actually not.
10. Be responsible to people who care and love you.

There are so many things a student should do. I just listed 10 points only.
The more you are not as smart as others, the more you need to work harder than them.
Saying that you are stressful is just an excuse. Kindly self-examine yourself.

PS: This note refers to someone who needs to do as above.

What to write?

有一个多礼拜没写东西了，不知要写什么。又不想把自己的博客丢着不管，所以又回到“宏迷的世界”来了。

就说说最近心里在想些什么吧 :)
其实，也没什么特别的。就像平常一样上班、吃饭、睡觉、懒惰读书、。。。、留意一下力宏最新动态。
前一阵子，认识了一个台南的宏迷。最近，和她聊得蛮开心的。从她身上，可以感受到台湾人的热情 :) 我说好喜欢吃台湾的“满汉大餐”牛肉泡面，她就说要寄给我。哈哈！我哪好意思让别人破费，就只好阻止她。（可是我真的好想要吃 :P)

咳！真想去台湾玩一玩。台湾！真的是跟我无缘吗？
两年前，如果在最后上飞机前两个礼拜没有发生状况的话，我现在应该是半个台湾人了吧！而且力宏的通告录影，宣传活动。。。我一定会争取机会参加的。可惜！这些只是“如果”而已。无奈！无力！无语！

不管怎样，当力宏下一次开演唱会的时候，希望我可以顺利申请到签证。

我把它设定为 MSN 的 Display Picture。跟朋友聊天的时候，会常常不由自主地盯着它看。我从没有过这样呢 :D 想象一下如果本尊站在我面前，是不是会瞬间变成木头人，就只盯着他看？

真的搞不懂歌迷为什么要拉扯他的衣服呢？这很没礼貌。
原来！那些保全还是蛮重要的，虽然我不怎么喜欢他们 :D

我差不多这么大的时候，也是玩这种游戏的。所以，我知道力宏跳错方法了。这跟跳栏不一样，要侧面跳，这样会比较容易，跳过橡皮筋就好，碰到它也没关系。
孩子们没有教你吗？

差不多是这样。从大概的距离小跑步跑到橡皮筋前再侧面往上一跳跨过去。靠近橡皮筋的脚先跨过去，另一边脚跟在后面，速度要快。不是双脚同时跳过去的啦。

还真是搞笑。。。哈哈哈哈！

是谁拍的呢？当公众人物真是不容易，生活被放在放大镜下被别人看。而且，现在又是全民狗仔的时代。还好，力宏很另类，从不在乎别人拍到自己私底下的样子，自己还会拍出来给歌迷看，来证明自己有多邋遢、不修边幅，并没有那么优质。哈哈！这个，赞！

"Little Big Soldier" Movie Review

I thought I wouldn't be able to manage to write-up for that movie. After reading China fans' write-ups, I was just inspired. I had lots of things & feelings to express. Then, I immediately opened word sheet and started writing. It was already around 10:30 in the late evening. I was working on it the whole night until two o' clock the next morning. I seldom stay that late. That mean I was sleepy at work the next day :P

《大兵小将》让人如此回味无穷！

“挺好的！”、“小人物”、甚至电影主题曲“油菜花”的第一句“一条大路哟，通呀通我家。。。”都成为了宏迷们的口头禅。“大兵小将”实在是棒极了！

一直以来我都很喜欢成龙大哥的作品，但“大兵小将”是我首次在电影院观看的成龙大哥电影，并且已经看了两次: 第一次是首映礼，第二次是年初一。再过几天，我将会跟 Ourhome的宏迷们再看一次。在首映礼看完的时候，我们大家都有着一种很强烈的感觉，这感觉很特别，觉得很不过瘾，好想马上再看一遍。果真，宏迷们不是和全家人一起，就是和非宏迷朋友们一起再看一次。

如果需要选一部作品来代表成龙大哥的其中一个电影特点---“幽默”的话，非“大兵小将”莫属，因为这部电影太好笑了！整个电影院都被观众的笑声淹没了。电影散场之后，你会听到好多人说:“好好看喔！”隔天你会看到很多人在讨论这部戏，说它有多棒。当然我想要强调的是这不是一部喜剧而已。它有很重要的讯息传达给观众，跟一般的成龙警匪片很不一样。很少电影能同时让你有幽默、感动、难过的感觉。大哥的剧本写得真好！

为什么“大兵小将”会让观众如此回味无穷呢？
它没有重复一般历史电影都会有的壮观武打场面，因为这不是它的卖点。
它没有一大堆的电脑特技效果，每一个场面都是由演员亲自上演的。
它在轻松幽默的气氛之下传达着意义深远的讯息: 和平、亲情、义气。。。
但这些讯息不是由任何人说出来的，而是演出来的。

大兵总是在战场上诈死逃过死劫。一心只想要回到家乡种田、成家，过平凡的农民生活。受伤的敌国将军是他的俘虏、他的田、他的偿。但他常常为了拯救他的俘虏而差点命送黄泉，到最后还是把他给释放了。虽然他贪生怕死，但到最后被乱箭穿心时，手里还紧握着他的秘密---“国旗”不放。看到这一幕，心里不禁难过了一下，这个结局还蛮令人感到意外的。

小将是卫国的太子，他骁勇善战，以战死沙场为荣。其实他是为天下太平而战，他认为只要有胜利者统一天下，便再没有战争，老百姓才可以过着太平的日子。他脾气傲慢暴躁，不屑被逃兵当俘虏，一直称他为“小人物”。怎料到最后，他受到“小人物”的感化，放弃了战争，并当上了一个为老百姓着想的好皇帝。一路上，他被弟弟背叛及追杀。可是当弟弟遇难时，他却不忍心袖手旁观，最终不顾一切地保护弟弟。而当弟弟的，则到了紧要关头，因为“两个兄弟，当中必须得活一个”，结果在敌人面前自行了断，以自己一死来保住哥哥的性命。好感动的一幕！

看完“大兵小将”，我们都说:“力宏演技超棒！”。也许会有人认为“情人眼里出西施”，不想多辩论。只是感觉很幸运，我们有机会看到了不一样的力宏。平常我们能看到的力宏，应该是带着迷人微笑的，或者是可爱的、严肃的，又或者是两天没睡觉，没梳头发，没刮胡子，制作期的疲惫力宏吧！现在，透过这部作品，我们看到了力宏的种种表情---愤怒的、傲慢的、威武的、自信的、惊吓的、疼痛的、饥饿的、无奈的、讽刺的。。。各种表情都表达得出神入化。

最让我印象深刻的就是黑熊出来的那一幕，力宏的表情转变。一心想要掐死大兵、正在气头上的将军看到黑熊后很惊吓的表情，反差实在太大了。演得很逼真，观众都笑了。还有一幕就是心高气傲的将军饿坏肚子的时候，放下身段，狼吞虎咽地吃着“小人物”给的夹着蝎子的馒头的样子，实在很难令人不留下深刻印象。还有。。。还有就是力宏实在太帅了。这是“情人眼里出西施”吗？我不想承认。虽然说力宏颠覆帅气外形，灰头土脸，但脸上的淤血疤痕再多，也遮不住菱角分明的端正五官。戏里面力宏大部分时间是受伤的、被捆绑着的，但还是掩盖不住那由内散发出来的男子气概。这也就是将军该有的魅力和威严吧！

其实还有很多、很多，要说的话真的怎样也说不完。说着说着，现在又想再看一遍了。

力宏！感谢你又给了你亲爱的歌迷和影迷朋友们那么棒的惊喜。真的辛苦你了！每一次收到你的惊喜都会有说不尽的感动。期待你的新鬼点子，新挑战！你是我们的骄傲。宏迷们永远以你为荣！

Happy Chinese New Year to Everyone!
祝大家虎年大吉、虎虎生威、財源廣近、平安幸福、身心健康！

CNY without family around you is quite boring. Luckily, at least my sister is here with me :) I have been here for more than two years. I don't know when I can go back home to celebrate CNY with my family.....haiz!

Same as previous years, I spent this CNY at Jurong Point. But, this year specially with "Small General" :) I saw the movie for the 2nd time with my sister and a friend of mine :)

Little Big Soldier Gala Movie Premier (08-02-10)

Actually, I wanted to write-up about the movie premier to be sent to wangleehom.com. I have so many feelings to express after I've watched it. But, it is quite difficult for me to find time for it. What is more, if I want to write-up, it can't be hold too long. So, I think I need to give up :(

As usual, almost all Jackie Chan's movies are action comedy. But, in my opinion, "Little Big Soldier" is the funniest of all. The audience just couldn't help laughing loudly. But, I must say the movie is not JUST a comedy. It is an anti war movie and conveys very meaningful messages.

Outwardly, Big Solider (by Jackie Chan) fears he dies in war and always pretends death. He hates war; just wants to go back to his homeland and contents with leading a peaceful farmer life. However, you can know from his conduct how brave he is and how much he loves his country.

On the other hand, it seems Young General - the prince of Wei Country (by Leehom), being proud to die in battle, likes to solve problem by fighting. But he fights for bringing peaceful to his people. He had been betrayed and chased by his brother who wants to usurped the throne. But actually, his brother admires him very much and he loves him too.

Although Leehom and JC couldn't be around, but the premier was a success. Everyone enjoyed the show. We enjoyed ourself very much as well. Thanks Brand's for inviting us :)

Unexpected Birthday Presents!!!

So SAD! I am one year older AGAIN T_T :D
Anyway, it doesn't matter as long as you didn't waste the year and did what you should/love to do. What's more important is that when you think back, there are many unforgettable memories for you to remember :) Although not many, I did have sweet memories of the previous year to remember for the rest of my life. There are so many first time experiences last year. If you have any interest to know, you can check back my old entries :P

To me, my work is a typical tedious paper work in a very boring working environment. I don't like that kind of life style, but there is no choice. Fortunately, there are nice people around me: my present landlord, my colleagues, Leehom's fan friends and non-fan friends...They give me strength to go :)

Today, I received few unexpected presents which make me be in a good mood the whole day :)

Birthday presents from my manager..... They just suit my dress worn today :)

Today is a walkathon day for me :D

I went to City Hall directly from my work place this afternoon for something.
After the thing had been done, I decided to do some shopping spree. It was around 5'o clock.
I walked to Raffles City and was browsing almost all fashion shops, but ended with empty hands. Then, I was aimlessly walking along City Link while browsing the shops along the way.

In Singapore, things are much expensive than that in most of other countries. I want to get new clothes for myself. But ones with affordable price suck. Ones that catch my eye sight are damn expensive. Here, what I mean by "expensive" is "unreasonable price". The material and design are not worth paying. That's why many people who often go abroad like to buy clothes in foreign countries like Taiwan, Thailand, China and even western countries.

OK! At last I found few nice dresses with reasonable price in a shop. I joined the long queue in front of the fitting rooms. After a long wait, there came my turn. Unluckily, there weren't my size :( Depressingly, I continued my journey to nowhere. Then, I realized that I was about to reach Suntex City. I knew I no longer wanted to shop cause of my tired legs and eyes. But feeling more tired when I thought about a long way back to the MRT station. Unconsciously, my legs were heading to the bus-stop. I took the bus to Somerset station.

Yes! I had new target to go, Cineleisure near Somerset station. I always heard people say there are big "Little Big Soldier" wall posters there. Hehee...I was going to see it :P Non-Homies will say "crazy". Yes! I am. But I am happily crazy :) After half an hour, I reached; got out from the bus and stupidly walked to the opposite direction to OG. Damn! After a while, I realized something wrong. I called/messaged my friends to check the right location. Oh No! They didn't answer/reply me instantly. What should I do? What could I do? I just went into OG and browsed again :P This time, not bad. I bought a pair of shoes. Then, what should I do next? I decided to give up and go home when I received the reply from my friend. So, I continued my journey to Little General.

Finally! I reached the right place which is very near if I didn't go to the wrong direction :D From outside the building, you can see the pillar covered with Little Big Soldier Ad.

I was told inside of all lifts are also with Big Soldier Ads. So, I went to take the lift to level 5, the box office, and went down.

Inside the lift.......Oh My Buddha! The Ad occupied the entire wall of the lift. That's nothing more than COOL!!!
Little General is like a security guard watching over us :P

Naughty people did something to JC's nose and eyes. Luckily, Leehom is standing :D

I was satisfied for I could manage to take photos. Nobody was looking at me because I didn't look at others....haha!
Time to go home. I walked to Orchard station instead of Somerset station just beside. I don't know why. Alamak! I hadn't had dinner. It was nearly 9 PM. I was on Orchard Road heading home.

My legs were almost broken.

I could manage to win the tickets to this by taking Kaspersky Antivirus quiz for myself and few of my friends. Actually I planned to try for other Homies as well until I was informed that the fan club is giving 50 tickets away to the members. Yay!!! So, I don't need to worry if we can sit together or if the seats aren't good enough :P Even don't need to worry if we don't get enough tickets for all of us...haha!

That's why SNS like plurk, twitter, facebook...becomes so popular among people nowadays.
It becomes one of the reasons why people, esp the young, can't live without computer with internet access, and also one of the reason why people want to have an iPhone. Those SNS are highly addictive.

Everything in the world has its own pros and cons.
Because of these SNS, it makes people and their loved ones from different location get closer to each other. They can get informed of friends' recent activities & updates wherever they are.
Yet, at the same time, they will bother to keep in touch with ones who don't use these SNS or who are computer idiots, esp the old. They will also be reluctant to talk with people around them. They will be spending insane amount of time on these and can't focus on other important things to be done.

Unluckily! I am one of them :P

It was my first DT concert.
How was the show?
It was GREAT!!!!! I enjoy the whole show very much. DT is a real musician.
He has the power to bring the audience to his music world. You just couldn't help moving your body & waving your hands with the music.

I could be able to manage to record few songs. Enjoy DT fans :)

“距离感”这东西很可怕！它会让你无奈与失落。。。
它！有时是因为我们制造而成的，如果是这样是可以避免的。
有时是原本就存在的，这样就很无奈，只能接受。

我跟我周边的人也有着/过不同的“距离感”: 跟朋友之间、同事、家人、亲戚、偶像、歌迷朋友之间。。。

在马来西亚的时候，第一次感受到了力宏和我们的距离。那感觉好似“国王”与“平民”之间的距离。他有一堆人的护驾，无法靠近。想要给他礼物，他还没看到你，助理就跑过来从手中拿走。而且演唱会之前为了护嗓他都会封口不说话。他就在眼前，但感觉遥不可及。可能是因为在新加坡戒备没有那么严（更准确地说新加坡的“御前侍卫”没那么凶），我们比较有机会接近他、听他讲话，所以这让我还真有点不太习惯。

OK! 我想要说的距离感并不是以上的情况 :P

只是我跟我家乡的朋友们越来越有距离感。可能是思想理念、生活习惯、兴趣爱好都大有不同吧！他们不能体会我现在的生活，常常会有一些评论。但我很喜欢我现在的生活方式，而且我在一直努力让现在的生活变得更好。可是搞得我们越来越没有共同话题。但我确定这不是我想要的。

我平常讲华语比较多。英语还在努力进步当中。他们不会讲华语，会的也是会讲一点点而已。
他们几乎不听华语歌。如果有听也都是十年前的老歌居多，像心太软、潇洒走一回等等。

我偶尔会去电影院看动作片。。。这被认为是奢侈、浪费。所以不用说看演唱会了。
我偶尔吃 Subway，日本餐。。。被嘲笑说我很洋派、很有钱。
我跟我在这认识的新加坡朋友出去。。。会被说我要变新加坡人了。

我知道他们是无心的，随便说说。我说出这些并不是我在生气还是什么。
只是想说因为这样，我和他们之间的距离越来越远了。

我跟着我新认识的朋友不断地尝试我在自己国家没有机会尝试的东西。他们很愿意教我、介绍我，我很感动。新加坡是个有很多种族、国籍的国家。但每一个种族都只喜欢聚集在只有自己同乡的地方，不太愿意跟本地人接触。他们和本地人之间有着很大的距离。

我！没有忘本，无时无刻都很想念我的家。但我喜欢看新的世界，尝试新的东西。到了新加坡这个文明国家，要学的东西好多好多。从我家乡跨出那一步，我的生活完全归零。我在这里从零开始学习。学习怎么搭地铁、怎么搭公车、怎么在 Subway 买汉堡吃。。。（很不可思议吧！）在公司从复印、接电话开始学习，到现在负责不少事情。家乡的家没有网路，现在的我对网路已不生疏，甚至比有些人还要熟悉，还要会用。

现在我想到什么呢？是 David 的 “从 zero 到 hero” 这个歌词。希望我有一天可以变成 "Hero". 两年的时间如果以学习来讲不算长，只是很短的时间而已。我在这两年学到了一些基本的东西，对这社会有了初步的了解。新加坡只是个很小的城市国家呢！走出这里会有更大、更辽阔的世界。学习的道路很长。。。希望我的朋友们多多指教。还有我家乡的朋友们不要认为我很不可理喻、很怪，希望你们可以了解。我想我们大家都应该放开我们的心去融入新社会、体会新经验吧！如果只窝在自己的世界里，永远不会知道外面的世界有多大，有多精彩！

如果我没有跨出那一步，我永远永远不会看过国际服装表演；永远不会知道身在万人演唱会现场的感觉；永远不会看过什么是专业摄影；Leehom, David, Coco...... 这些天王天后也只会是银幕上的传奇人物。还有许多许多很棒的第一次经验，我永永远远都不会有！

Event: X'mas Gathering & MUSIC-MAN Concert

I had a greatest time on that night.
Cheering, screaming, clapping & singing along with the MUSIC-MAN on the screen :)
It was awesome to watch the concert on a big screen and was like bringing us back to the concert day :)

Actually I didn't expect much before the party. I just joined! Have been busy & tired these days. Out of my expectation, I had lots of fun & was very high throughout the session.

Waiting for our turn for group singing contest game. We didn't win...hehe... (Why did I open my mouth so wide?)
The winner group received Leehom autographed poster each.....that's cool!!!!!!!!
The prize for the 2nd game was the autographed "Change Me" album, which I didn't win also :D

But, at least I won a lucky draw gift.....haha... (but no autograph :)

I would like to express my gratitude to all OHSG committee members for being generous with your time, money and efforts for bringing the most precious moments to the Leehom's Singapore fans.

The interview was conducted in his room @ the Fullerton Hotel when he was in town for ION Orchard's official opening at the end of Oct this year. I extracted a part about what the journalist thinks of him, which is also the same as we know him. (Yes! That's a part of him.)

Extracts
When Wang finally arrived surrounded by a cloud of minders including hairstylist and makeup artist, and wearing the one outfit that he finally approved (with the time slashed, there was no time for clothing changes), everyone sprang into action. The man himself was reticent, almost aloof as he greeted everyone with a polite albeit cursory handshake. His body language seemed to say that he knew he had a job to do and wanted to get right down to it.

Then came the next setback. His manager didn't like the idea of shooting Wang on the bed. Without going into detail, she deemed it wouldn't sit well with his clean-cut image. True. For years, Wang has built his fan base upon his squeaky clean persona. Despite being in the industry for nearly a decade, he has managed to remain unscathed in the relentlessly rumour-mongering world that is the Asian music industry. While celebrities are often dogged by all sorts of scandals - be them family desputes or the unauthorised dissemination of salacious private photos, often illegally dug up by the media to boost tabloid sales - Wang has managed to steer clear of the gossip mill.
The Chinese media may have made speculations about his private life, his love interest and his sexuality - when Wang attended the Taiwanese music awards in 2008 with a young Chinese male, gossip rags went into overdrive; the companion turned out to be his younger brother - but they have nothing on Wang so far. So you can't blame the manager for being too careful.

Getting Personal
The shoot was ultimately relocated to the balcony, where the seemingly quiet and introverted Wang immediately morphed into the consummate unselfconscious professional. He coolly took his seat on a rattan armchair and his demeanour revealed just how comfortable he is being in front of the lens and the degree with which he was aware of his image. With the clock ticking, he eased naturally into striking poses for the photographer, at times even directing him. Wang knew how to put his best face forward, literally. And it was clear to all present who was in charge.
In no time, the shoot was wrapped up. Wang then sauntered over to the couch for the interview. He answered questions meticulously - almost like a politician - staring at you intently and digesting every word before taking his time to answer.

"The projects that interest me are those that no one has ever done before.
I like to know that it's going to be a good investment of time."

"I have been through many barriers, prejudices and stereotyping while growing up over there (the US), so that's why I am very motivated to do international collaborations and to have Chinese songs sung in the States."

Just talked about that song with few of my friends.
Because it is a cover, we have a feeling that he might be taking quite a bit of flak for this song just like when David Tao re-arranged and covered the song "Moon represents my heart". Critics will never appreciate his music and accept the fact that he is always trying something different. Anyway, if Leehom had cared about them, never would he composed/re-arranged songs like "What's wrong with rock!!" & "Descendant of Dragon", which are among most popular songs nowadays. Never mind, when he is creating amazing music for us, he is just creating chances for media & critics to make money for their family too. Everybody knows he is charitable...LOL!!!

我们都很高兴力宏又带给我们新鲜和惊喜。这只是整张专辑的一小部分而已，真的期待新专辑的发行，期待更多的惊喜！
看了这个片段，我们都有预感，那些批评家和媒体们有事请做了，又有钱赚了。因为这是一首改编歌曲，一定会说些有的没的，什么改编歌曲是不是因为已经江才郎尽或破坏邓丽君的歌之类的。就好像当初的“龙的传人”和“摇滚怎么了”一样。但“完全~没有~任何~理由~理你们”。如果真的理过你们按照你们的喜爱来创作的话，那我们听众就不会欣赏到这么多独特、新鲜、好听的音乐了。这样我们一定很可怜！很遗憾！但，还好！这是假设不存在的。过一段时间，这又会是一首经典歌曲罗！哈哈！

I promise myself I shall make good use of this chance, to push myself to study hard. I've been wasting much of my time on nothing. Shame on me! If no Leehom as my role model, I couldn't imagine how much lazier I would be....kekee....

我不聪明，但也不笨。学习能力也算不错。我最大的缺点就是有理想、但不够努力。既然自己知道自己的缺点，为什么不改呢？因为懒嘛！呵呵！我是那种如果周边有很棒的人包围就会变成一个超及认真而用功的人。如果身边都是些懒散或很普通的人的话，原本的动力也跟着消失了。一句话！就是没有“毅力”。说来惭愧！咳！

现在，我要把握这个机会，达成我的新年愿望！就算大忙人力宏不可能直接给我加油、给我建议，但他偶尔会上网看一下社员们的成绩吧! 我不想在力宏面前丢脸。呵呵！

其实我有好多愿望想要完成: 继续深造（已经开始了!)、旅游看看世界、赞助儿童、带父母旅游。。。但现在先打好语言基础吧！精通国际语言有助于提升自己的知识与工作地位、赚更多的钱，才能实现其他梦想，不会再像现在心有余而力不足了。

Due to working in Tuas area......
1. Unable to join most activities after work. That hinders me from making new friends, acquiring new experiences & knowledge to be a part of that civilized society, and even creates a certain distance between my friends and I.

2. Need to request for time off or half day leave for going to central area to do things that you need/want to in late afternoon. If not, can't be able to reach in time even you directly rush from work. Say, it takes approximately 1.5 hrs to City Hall MRT, if the bus isn't late. Otherwise, maybe longer. Even if the appointment is around 7:30PM, I still need to rush, which makes me haggard. If earlier, I need to apply leave. Envy friends working at central area. They can save their 1/2 day leave.

3. Can't be able to go outside to do personal things like going to bank or buying things during lunch time since there are only factories around.

But can't blame anyone/anything for this!!!!

David Tao Zhe SG Concert Autograph Session (28-11-09)

Since it was the autograph session for the upcoming concert "DT in Space the Rock & Talk Show", not for the album, he didn't sing. (A bit disappointed!!!) He is my 2nd favorite Chinese male musician besides Leehom. But I've never seen him perform live before :p
No worry! I won't miss the chance to enjoy his show in Jan 2010 :D At this concert, he is gonna be very close to the audience. Luckily, I got a good seat for the show :D

新加坡ION Orchard开幕街头派对 (23.10.09)

首先我想趁这个机会感谢 ION Orchard 邀请力宏来到新加坡担任开幕派对的表演嘉宾，让宏迷们有多一次机会听到 MUSIC-MAN 最动人的歌声。这是 ION Orchard 购物商场举办的开幕街头派对。我真的感到十分荣幸与幸运能够从贵宾区欣赏如此盛大隆重的派对。

当晚的一切都很国际化。可以说在新加坡从来没有过如此华丽的商场开幕盛典。新加坡纳丹总统是当晚的嘉宾之一。两位主持人可是完美的俊男美女组合MTV 主持人 Utt 和 Denise Keller。国际顶级模特的各大品牌时装表演拉开了派对的序幕。开幕仪式的画龙点睛和精彩的舞龙表演更为派对锦上添花、让我目不暇给。

8 点 15 分：期盼已久的心动时刻终于来临！

MUSIC-MAN 带着他的山水泼墨吉他唱着 “摇滚怎么了!!”出场，把全场气氛推到最高潮。唱完了第一首，力宏向纳丹总统问候，接着唱第二首。一首载歌载舞的“盖世英雄”让站在我后边的观众惊叹不已，一直发出 “哇！”的声音。他们是第一次这么近距离看力宏的表演。有的甚至没见过力宏。最后力宏还柔情地自弹自唱一首英文歌曲 “Your Song”，让现场观众听得如痴如醉。台上的力宏蹦蹦跳跳、活力四射，跟歌迷互动着，还不时叫 Ourhome Singapore 的名字。台下的我们尖叫声连连，跟随着力宏唱着、跳着、喊叫着力宏的名字。真希望时间可以停留在那一刻！

唱完了第三首歌，也是最后一首歌，力宏就跟大家说“Good Night”正要准备离开。当时，我们顿时呆了。怎么那么快？感觉好像表演还没开始就已经结束了。幸好！两位主持人留住了力宏。力宏再次从台上问候纳丹总统。纳丹总统礼貌地站起来向力宏挥手。

力宏和主持人聊了一会儿以后与歌迷们一起为烟火表演倒数。瞬间！绚丽夺目而震耳欲聋的烟花从商场屋顶散发着耀眼光芒。可爱的力宏用双手掩着双耳，还用眼角偷看我们。和我站一起的朋友跟我说她当时被电到了。哈哈！烟火表演结束以后舞台突然喷放五彩纸屑。因为纸屑太多，力宏在满天飞舞的五彩纸屑中挥动着双手，然后还帮两位主持人弄掉身上的纸屑。之后，ION Orchard 的总裁上台送力宏鲜花。天下没有不散的宴席！力宏终于要离开了。力宏和我们道别。我们只好以不舍的眼光目送力宏离开。

表演结束以后，力宏就在商场大堂内与总统贤伉俪和贵宾们共进晚餐。好多歌迷在那等他。力宏还跟歌迷们握手。我好后悔表演结束后就立刻回家。但，还会有下次吧！把行李和手提电脑当成家的力宏这次在新加坡逗留了三天，还说“好像在度假”。那！请你以后常常来这度假，好吗？

每一次和你重逢，幸福于感动铭刻在美好的回忆。
每一次和你分开，不舍于思念缠绵在宏迷的心间。

The storyline is really powerful and interesting.

It was the darkest of times in China, when ruthless warlords waged battles to satiate their endless aggression. Millions of lives perished, and those who survived had only two choices - kill or be killed.

The battalions of warring states Liang and Wei collided in a bloodbath that lasted from dawn until dusk. Only two men were left standing - a FOOT SOLDIER from Liang (Jackie Chan) and the rival GENERAL from Wei (Wang Leehom). The Soldier survived because he is an expert in playing dead, with a device strapped on his body which protruded like an arrowhead for added realism.

The Soldier captured the wounded General, hoping to use the enemy as his ticket to freedom - by handing the Gerneral to the Liang warlord, the Soldier could be honorably discharged and return home to his peaceful life. The young General, though taken captive, was condescending towards the Soldier. The two men were often at loggerheads during the long and winding journey........

Not in very good mood these days. Have always been thankful to LH & friends around me for keeping me sane especially when I am away from my family. 因为你们我才可以继续走下去。最近有点喘不过气来。我知道是自己想太多、顾虑太多、想做的东西太多，但心有余而力不足。但我想这也是在所难免的。不管怎样，有你们在我永远都是幸福的 :) 前几天，连续听了力宏的 “在梅边”。最后一段 Rap 的其中一句 “失控之前喘一口气”真的给了我很大的鼓励和帮助。

昨天，我下班回家不知为什么自己给自己出了一个问题: “至今，有没有过让我很感动的事？我还记不记得是谁让我很感动过？”我从没问过自己这种问题。可是很意外地发现那些感动我的回忆一一浮现在我的脑海里。除了我最在乎的家人和我最崇拜的力宏，还有一些人和事，只要我想起它们心里暖暖的、脸是带笑的。

我无法把所有感动的事都一一写出来。只能说这些感动都是在我最脆弱、最需要的时候到来的惊喜。人! 也只有在这种时候才会有机会认识到谁会在你需要的时候真诚主动地申出援手，而不求回报的。我很惊讶地知道了我做人还蛮成功的。呵呵！很多时候都是他们主动要帮助我，而不是我要求的（因为很难开口嘛 :p）没想到这些可爱的朋友们是这么地信任我、这么地愿意陪在我身边。而他们并不会随便帮助任何人。我清清楚楚地知道他们的帮助绝非有目的的，而是在尽朋友之责而已。经过时间的考验也证明了这一点 :)

人.......很容易遗忘美好的事物，不开心的事却刻骨铭心。这也是我写部落格的原因。就算会花很多时间我还是会把我的美好回忆和经历统统记录下来。这样！不管我在何时看我过去的回忆都会让我感觉我是幸福的、生活是充足的 :)

Brand's 推销员被热情与疯狂的宏迷感染了．哈哈！

Today, she gave me one more calendar although I told her that this might be the last time I bought Brand's for the calendar. But, I also told her I am drinking Brand's now. We may meet next time :)

I'm gonna give away that extra calendar to a lucky friend of mine :) To be frank, I want to keep two for my own. But too many friends want it so bad. I decided to give it away. So, Who will be that lucky fan? She is the one whom I promised to give if I could get one. She will definitely be very happy after she knows :) I am happy too. For the giver is always happier than the receiver :)

Brand's SG New Ambassador

Yippee!!!! Not only in Taiwan & China, from this month, Leehom is the ambassador of Brand's Essence of Chicken in Singapore as well. We always envy the fans in Taiwan and China cause of his continuous appearances due to lots of endorsements there. Now, SG Homies are so happy to get more chances to see him in future :)

I started drinking Brand's just because of Leehom. But I must say, to my surprise, it really helps me refresh myself after a weary day. I can feel it :) It really works. Maybe I will try to drink it early in the morning before I go out, and see whether it can help me not to be sleepy at work :p:p:p (No! I am not sleepy everyday at work...just once in a while :D)

Exclusive Skype with Lee Hom (30-10-09)

Yes! I was one of the lucky fans being selected to attend the exclusive skype interview with Leehom organized by the Straits Time Razor TV & Brand's Essence of Chicken.

OMG! This was my first time speaking with him.........IN FRONT OF media. (One more first time experience :)
Although it is only skype, not speaking to him in person, still, I was extremely NERVOUS until I couldn't sleep and eat well :P
What if I speak wrongly?
What if I forget the question?
What if I stammer?
What if my voice shake?

The whole session was being broadcast live online and posted on web, which was the main reason that made me so nervous.

Showing that he was wearing pure white sneaker as Sara and another girl had a bet on which colour sneaker he would be wearing. Unluckily, Sara lost :D

Leehom: Everytime I do teleconference, I love to test the amount of delay that we have.

So, it's like 1, 2, 3.............clap.

He asked us: "你们手酸吗？一直拿着那个 (banner)。You can put it down."

"There are a few ways to manage it. I’ve been inventing new ways too. Hahaa... There is one kind of jet lag like you travel to other places where you don’t need to stay many days; you still can live as in Asia time zone. That is a way to do it. Actually, it works. If you need to stay longer days, you can slowly adjust. Don’t do it suddenly. When you still in Asia, your bedtime becomes later and later. After you reach western countries, you sleep earlier. Then, take your time to adjust to later bedtime. Don’t do it all of a sudden. Besides, eating time is also important. When you eat & when you sleep are much to do with it.
But...anyway, normally, if you are too tired, you can sleep anywhere: on plane, in car....you can sleep anywhere."

People including Chinese always say my name is difficult to pronounced and memorized whenever I introduced myself. The feeling is so amazing when he still remembered my name after a long reply, esp when I introduced only once. And he pronounced so clearly and correctly....
Non-homies may say "受不了". Even that kind of things can make you so happy......
Exactly! All Homies know that feeling :D

The only guy on that day...The host introduced him as "The only Rose is gonna be asking a question."
Leehom asked "Why's Rose?" :D

Stupidly, after the group photo, we waved at and said bye bye to the TV screen, not the camera lens. Leehom might definately be laughing at us cause he might see us waving to the TV screen from our back view :D

哈哈！不要笑我们。没有经验嘛！不会找镜头，只会找力宏！kakaaa...

This is how I'm gonna spend my annual bonus next CNY.....
- My sister's tuition fee
- Red-packet money for my family
- Tax to be paid to ROBBER Government (not SG)
[(S$80.00/month x 12 months) + Passport renewal fee S$300.00 = S$1,260.00]

I am sure the bonus alone won't be enough to pay for all of this.

In a word, while people are enjoying their year end bonus and wonderful holiday trip with their family,
I am in Singapore with....

NO new clothes!
NO entertainment!
NO holiday trip!
NO returning home!
NO saving!!!!!!! (At worst!)

PS: LH & Blue Babies! I can't imagine my life without you all.

ION Orchard Grand Opening Street Party (23-10-09)

(It will be a long long post full with photos.......It took me so much time to update. hwahhh!!!!! Sleepyyy!!!! :D)

I feel so honoured to be able to be there. Thanks ION for inviting Leehom and bringing such a great and amazing party for us. Everything on that night was grand and spectacular. In Singapore, never ever have we seen that kind of party just for the opening of a shopping mall.

Singapore President S.R. Nathan was one of the guests for the party.

This was Leehom's second time meeting with Mr. President. First time was 11 years ago at Williams Colleage :)

The lady in pupple dress is ION's CEO....真是个 "女强人" :D

The party started with fashion shows. Because of Leehom, I've got so many first time fantastic experiences in my life. It was my first time seeing fashion shows. Yes! It was world well-known brand fashion shows.

8:15 PM......It was the moment we all had been waiting for!!!!!

I went to Coco "East to West" Singapore Autograph Session @ Bugis Junction with my friends yesterday. Her last trip to Singapore was 7 years ago. Surely, her fans are so excited and extremely happy to see her again.

I feel so honoured to get that chance to appreciate her beauty & charm. It was so amazing to hear her angelic voice live. She is friendly to the extreme, which makes us feel there is no distance between her and us :)

Can't stop laughing every time I re-watch his yellow joke part :D
He fooled the male host into believing what he said about the violin. And he succeeded :D

Then, he looked the male host up and down :D

Williams and Mary.” An ego depletion to us all, we’ve generally come to accept the fact that even many of our friends in the Northeast have no idea where our college is located. But there is a way to escape, a place where we can run to when we graduate where people would both know of and look very favorably upon our college of choice. No, this haven is not Pittsfield, or North Adams or even distant Springfield. The land is the faraway and delightful realm of Taiwan.

We can credit this eminence to Lee-Hom Wang ’98, by far the most famous Williams alumnus that you’ve never heard of. With sponsorships from Sony, Yamaha, McDonald’s and other large multinational corporations, the Chinese pop star’s face is ubiquitous on the streets of Taipei. “Literally, he was like omnipresent – on posters, billboards, television and products,” said Genevieve Loomis ’10 while recounting her time in Taiwan over Winter Study. “People would see our Williams sweatshirts and immediately associate us with Lee-Hom.”

Loomis was part of a 10-student group that journeyed to this far off land in an effort to experientially bolster their understanding of Chinese and Taiwanese culture. The trip, listed in the course catalog as Chinese 025, is a biyearly endeavor led by Department Chair Cornelius Kubler, a scholar of Chinese linguistics and pedagogy. “The month-long Winter Study period really offers an ideal opportunity for students to study together, live together and travel together,” Kubler said.

Every day, after the students finished their three-hour morning Chinese classes, Kubler, who also holds the esteemed title of Stanfield Professor of Asian Studies, led the students on a plethora of exciting excursions throughout Taipei. Using his immense connections, or guanxi as they are referred to in Mandarin, Kubler granted students rare access to the embassy in Taiwan, the home of a billionaire businessman friend of his and even a paintball arena where Kubler himself competed alongside his students.

The incontestable highlight of the trip had to be the much-anticipated encounter with Lee-Hom Wang. “He took us all out to a nice restaurant for dinner and we talked about Williams and what not,” Nancy Dong ’11 said. “I was a fan before going on the trip and I couldn’t believe how laid back and cool he was in person.”

After a delicious dinner at a Japanese fusion restaurant that Lee-Hom had opened especially for the Williams group, the former member of the Springstreeters led his guests to a karaoke club where they sang the night away. “It was so cool to hear him sing some of his own songs, with his own music video playing in the background,” Loomis said. “There was even one video from when he was a student that was shot on the Williams campus.”

When not singing, Lee-Hom made an effort to talk to everyone and genuinely took an interest in the ways in which his alma mater had changed in the decade-plus time that had elapsed since his graduation. Dong, one of the few students who listened to Lee-Hom prior to the trip, was ecstatic about her opportunity to talk to the celebrated Chinese pop star. She had been somewhat impatiently awaiting her turn to talk to him when she unexpectedly ran into him on a trip to the bathroom. “I came out of the stall, and was like ‘Oh!’ I managed to compliment him on his music though,” Dong said.

As the night progressed, Lee-Hom shed his inhibitions and danced on a strip pole that was conveniently located in their posh karaoke suite. “I guess it’s pretty standard there, but he actually got up on the pole and twirled with one arm down the pole,” Loomis said. “He’s really skinny, but so strong!”

After a wonderful night spent with the relaxed and jean-clad Lee-Hom, the group returned to the university only to discover that their previous night had been surreptitiously documented by photographers from www.wangleehom.com, one of the numerous unofficial fan sites created to follow the every move of the Williams alumnus. One shot displayed on the website features the singer, walking in stride with Robert Kim ’11, Loomis and Professor Kubler.

Due to Lee-Hom’s extraordinary stardom in China and Taiwan, it’s no surprise that many international students hailing from the region writhed in agony over the missed opportunity to meet the pop star. Chengjia Jin ’12, an international from the eastern coastal province of Zhejiang, conceded that “As a teenager growing up in China, I often had dreams about Lee-Hom.” Jackson Lu ’12 of Beijing said that he “was miserable for the whole day when he found out that he wouldn’t be allowed to go.”

Unfortunately, it seems that Jin, Jackson and many more of us Ephs will have to patiently await our turn to visit this land where Williams is renowned and strip poles are mysteriously not frowned upon. For a trip like this though, most of us will be more than willing to wait.

Springstreeter turns Chinese superstar

Singer Leehom Wang ’98 is the most famous Eph, ever. He’s more famous than George Steinbrenner ’52, he’s more famous than Stephen Sondheim ’50 and he’s definitely more famous than President James A. Garfield, Class of 1856. He’s too famous to perform at Spring Fling, and he’s also too famous to answer my e-mails, apparently. But if he’s so famous, then why haven’t you heard of him? Well, he may not pop up in American gossip magazines as much as LiLo, but “Wang Leehom,” as he is called in China, is a household name 12 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time. It’s hard to miss Wang’s face in cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taipei. Pass a McDonald’s, and you’ll see a poster of him rockin’ out next to a life-size frosty drink. Stop by a convenience store and pick up a bottle of Wahaha water, and there’s Wang again smiling at you on the label. Look across the street, and there’s Wang listening to music on his phone for a Sony Ericsson ad.

But who was the pop superstar when he was just another one in 2000? For starters, he didn’t actually speak Chinese – at least not during his freshman year. Despite the fact that Wang has released 10 albums in Chinese, starting in 1995, he started as a lowly Chinese 101 student with Professor Cecilia Chang, and Professor Neil Kubler taught the Asian Studies major third-year Chinese. “He was a very good student, he was very smart,” Kubler said, “but to be frank, he wasn’t always there because he’d leave a week before spring break and come back one or two classes late because even then as a junior he was hipping, hopping all over the world.” That’s because Wang had already started recording with BMG Music by his sophomore year, after he won a talent show while visiting his grandmother in Taiwan in the summer of 1995. However, Wang still managed to find time for his studies, and Kubler said that by the time he graduated, he was somewhat fluent in Chinese, and became completely fluent after college. According to Kubler, Wang still remains interested in Asian studies; not only did he read up on classical Chinese, but he also recently asked Kubler to send him Cantonese textbooks so he could learn how to sing “Cantopop.”

Interestingly enough, Wang’s studies seemed to have prepared him perfectly for his career: his other major was music. Andy Jaffe, professor of music, had Wang in his jazz theory improvisation and jazz piano classes. “He was a very serious student,” Jaffe said. “He was always interested in finding things he could apply to his own music.” But Wang was also active in the music department when he was out of the classroom. “He was definitely someone who always spent a lot of time and was very involved with our performances, and he was in a lot of student music groups,” Jaffe said. “He was always involved if my students were writing a thesis. Some of the jazz ensemble students would play with him in musicals.”

Although Jaffe observed Wang’s trained talent in jazz and classical music, he did not foresee Wang’s future success in pop. “I had no idea when he was a student that he had this potential to be a pop star,” he said. “I heard his album but I didn’t really appreciate that he was going to be a huge star. He was very modest so I didn’t really realize it was going to go where it went.”

The people who did see Wang’s talent in pop were probably those who went to see Springstreeters shows. Wang was an active member of the a cappella group since his freshman year, and became extremely close with his fellow singers. He still keeps in contact with Conrad Oakey ’98, and video chats with him about once a month. Oakey said that although Leehom had a budding career outside of school, he still dedicated his full attention to the Springstreeters and did most of the arrangements. “I think he really liked doing a cappella arrangements because he had total freedom to make it jazzy,” Oakey said. “He was artistically smart with music; he had perfect pitch.”

Oakey, along with Wang’s other friends, was able to see Wang’s success build over the years. “We gave him a lot of flack for being a pop star,” Oakey said. “[His fame] only showed up on campus when the film crew would come to shoot a video with him. They were music videos of early songs – we had to play basketball and we were all horrible at basketball, but the director felt that that was what American boys did.”

Wang’s fame did not come without drawbacks – he was constantly traveling to promote his career, especially as he grew more and more successful. “He’s a workaholic – he forgets to eat when he’s in the middle of a creative process, he goes without sleep for long periods of time,” Oakey said. “He really has a staggering work ethic.”

Despite Wang’s busy schedule, Oakey said that it didn’t get in Wang’s way of enjoying a little romance at the College. “He had a girlfriend, and I think he was a serial monogamist,” he said. “He liked being in a relationship.” Nor did his fame keep him from having a social life. “I think he had a lot of fun here; he just had not as much free time on his hands,” Oakey said. “He had a lot of musician friends. He’s a friendly guy and can make friends with mostly anybody, but he has the most kindred association [with] people who are musicians.”

Most of these friends were in Wang’s senior thesis: a musical called “The Bite that Burns.” Wang’s mother, Mingshu, said, “This experience prepared Leehom for a music career [in that] he dedicated himself each day to its challenges, his creative energy and new discoveries.” The musical was about a small town guy who gets his big break in a vampire movie called The Bite that Burns. According to Oakey, who played a drag queen’s lover and a drinking buddy, the musical was also about the price of fame, and was somewhat based on Wang’s personal experience. “He got more successful by the time we were seniors … he was on his way to being a Prince or Justin Timberlake of Taiwan,” he said. “At that point he was experiencing the consequences of fame and being recognized everywhere.” Oakey said during an a cappella spring break trip to New Orleans, Wang was recognized by two girls on the street.

Certainly, Wang’s star was only beginning to shine back then. Kubler recalled sitting front row at Wang’s concert in Taiwan where Wang gave him a shout-out during the show. Kubler said that when Wang walked into the audience of 1200 tween girls, his fans ripped off his shirt and clawed at him to the extent that he had scratches on his bare back during the show. They even hounded Kubler after the show. “There was this long line of 20, 25 girls who ran up to the first row because Leehom had told the audience I was there, and some of them just practiced their English with me,” Kubler said. “One of them said, ‘Teacher, could I touch your hair?’ And another one said ‘What are you doing tonight?’ and my wife and mother in law were right there. It was sort of like I was the closest I could get to Leehom, their idol.”

Oakey has also had a few brushes with Wang’s fame. He visited Wang in Shanghai on the set of his movie China Strike Force and got to hang out with Wang’s co-star – none other than rapper Coolio. Oakey also visited Wang in Taiwan – Wang personally picked him up from the airport, which had been planned by the minute so that Wang would not be ambushed by fans (and he was asked to sign a few autographs on his way in and out of the airport).

After 13 years, Wang’s career is stronger than ever. Along with the many albums he has released since his debut, he recently starred in 2007’s critically acclaimed and controversial Lust Caution, directed by the esteemed Ang Lee. However, Wang is still Leehom from the block, and he knows where he comes from – the Purple Valley. According to Kubler, Wang will be returning to the College this summer for his 10-year reunion.

Just one day before I received MUSIC-MAN Tour DVD, I got Ying-ying's first solo album "有人在替你祈祷" (Someone is praying for you), a collection of jazz and acoustic gospel songs. Homies!!! Do you recognize who Ying-ying is? One of four backing vocalists of MUSIC-MAN world tour...the one who looks very cool in the photos, but friendly to the extreme :)

Actually, I don't usually buy other singers' album. But you know, Homies are 爱屋及乌...hahaa...Of course, the songs are great as well. I had listened to it from imeem before I decided to buy.

It is available in Singapore also.

But I bought online from 诚品网路书店 Taiwan. To my surprise, although the shipping fee is higher than the CD price itself, but still cheaper than the ones sold at Eden book store in SG.

Was surprised when I unpacked and saw there is no hard plastic cover for the CD :D

After a long wait, my precious MUSIC-MAN World Tour DVD and "Man in the Mirror" CD Single are in my hands finally :D

Thanks to my HK friend for informing me that HK presales version comes with limited edition "Man in the Mirror" CD single. Sony wants to stimulate HK market with this.....And it works!!!!!

For this, I was waiting one more week than others to get the DVD in hands. It was really hard to control my temptation to watch. But, I knew it was worth waiting. Now, many Homies envy me to possess it :P

Just watched the DVD yesterday for the first time. Was brought back to the concert day and the feeling is just amazing. Have being thrilled by his awesome piano skill when he sings and plays "Love's encourgement" (爱的鼓励). And keep thinking how many multi-instrumental musicians in the world can play the piano at that kind of high level. (When he started to learn piano, he was already 18.) But, I am sure, in Chinese music industry, nobody else possesses the talents and expertise like him. I remember the other two singers-song writters Jay Chou & David Tao call him "Prince Piano" (钢琴王子) :D (No idea how to describe his violin skill. Even he said the violin is his most familiar instrument :D)

我跟每一个宏迷一样，每一次看到力宏的表演都会好震撼、好感动，甚至眼眶会忽然热起来。

Glad to hear MUSIC-MAN World Tour DVD is as successful as the world tour itself. It was the best seller in Taiwan last week, the first week after releasing. In Singapore, it has already been out of stock in CD stores just 5 days after the release date. As for HK side, my friend told me that it was sold out in many CD stores and some CD stores that have the DVD in stock increase the selling price. (Sucks!)

My Dream Last Night

I dreamt David Tao last night. In the dream, he was courting me by being very protective of & nice to me...hahaa...If he sees that post, will he feel it is very ridiculous becasue we all know he likes smart & sexy girls? I am not his type at all. Anyway, it is not my point.

Just wonder why not Hom? Why he? My friend joked me that I am not faithfull to Hom and that I dream at night what I think in the day... Come on!!! I can't control my dream. But, frankly, I did see some photos of Homies taken with him as he was in KL for his latest album promotion. (Many Homies including me are his fans also.) Then, I dreamt him at night :P

But, if ones dream at night what ones think in the day, I am thinking of Hom everyday, so far I have never dreamt him as my bf :D:D:D But I remember, once I dreamt that Hom and Blue Babies took the same flight and had a happy chat with him in the plane all the way :P So, Blue Babies...See!!! How nice I am :P

Wang Lee Hom is holding his 「MUSIC MAN」concert tour in Beijing this Saturday. He will perform one of Michael Jackson’s classics 「Man In The Mirror」and will also send the audience a copy of his cover. Lee Hom’s cover is a limited edition for the Beijing concert and is full of his memories towards Michael Jackson.

Wang Lee Hom was born in the United States. He essentially grew up under Jackson’s influence. Lee Hom has also worked with Quincy Jones, who produced Jackson’s albums.

Copyrights to Michael Jackson’s songs are not easily given to others to cover. This single could be released due to the fact that both artists are under SONY Records. Wang Lee Hom found time to record this single within a month’s time. The single’s follows a black and white design, to put some emphasis on remembering his past idol. World Vision Taiwan 30-hour famine rally kicked off last Saturday. Sixteen thousand people together with Lee Hom felt the hunger for 30 hours started from 15 Aug, 12 noon to 16 Aug, 6PM. Due to the aftermath of Typhoon Morakot, this year's activity focused on raising fund and sending love to the typhoon victims instead of celebrating the 20th 30-Hour Famine.

This is our first time hearing he sing this song---his 29th birthday present: a great song written, composed, arranged & sung by his fans from China in 2005. He recorded it in "Heroes of Earth" album later. I still remember his expressions when he got that birthday surprise.....stunned, touched, proud, satisfied.....His eyes glistened with tears.
In a word, He was really touched beyond words.

From one of their interviews, I get to know that after Beijing, they will go to HK and Singapore. Oh! So sorry that I have no money allocated to see their show :P

We girls sometimes discuss that Lee Hom's got "Scanner-made Eyes". He always finds the cream of the crop people in the world for his music project. So lucky we are! Hahaa...can always be lucky enough to enjoy the best things introduced by him.

But, after I've talked about the special guests "eScala" with some of Hom's fans, I found out that most people prefer no guests. Some even worries whether the performance of Special Guest will destruct the flow of the concert, or whether it will make Lee Hom's part shorter. Lee Hom alone is enough for them. The fans just want to see him through the whole show. The longer time, the better. (With that, I totally agree too :P). Anyway, eScala are powerful, though.

If talking about guests, I must mention that the arrangement of the opening guests performance by the organizer is totally unwelcome by all of us. It is nothing but extra. Introducing new faces to the audience shouldn't be in this way. The crowd won't be impressed even a little bit.

Time flies!!!
The 8th of Augest, 2009----the 10th birthday of Ourhome Singapore!
We have gone through for a decade together!!!

I have been a huge fan of Lee Hom for nearly 6 years, but joined the Singapore fan club less than two years. Yet, in that short period of time, I get a deeper understanding of his music, his adorable personality and attitude. I just can't help more and more being into him :)

And Lee Hom's worth it!!!

Fund Raising Activity One Year After The Sichuan Earthquake

Last year, Lee Hom donated NT$3 millions for the people in the Sichuan earthquake disaster area.

One year after that deadly disaster, he never forgets them. In this April, for remembrance of the 1st anniversary, he donated all the royalty RMB80,000 for his diary book "In Praise of Life", Lee Hom's Commemorative Book about his last year's charity trip to Laos. Furthermore, he called on his fans from all over the world to participate in that meaningful fund raising activities---donation activity & charity auction, specially for the kids in Sichuan Shui Guan Xiang (水观乡) primary school located in a remote village of Sichuan.

The activity perfectly ended on 1st June, the Children's Day. In the early morning of the day, bringing warmest love & wishes from Homeboy and his fans from all over the world, a 20-people group of fans led by Ourhome China president, Eric, started for Sichuan ShuiGuanXiang Primary School to personally make a donation of RMB250,000 and to distribute presents to the kids there.

Problem Of Singnet With Blogger

It has been a while I haven't updated my blog. Not because I was too busy, but because I had been experiencing trouble with creating and editing posts during those days.

The formatting buttons disappeared and so did the video and picture buttons. Also, shortcuts didn't work anymore. All in all, everything with my creating and editing page became weird.

The page just became like this; no formatting buttons at all.

It really irritated me. I thought I needed to abandon my blog :(
OH...NO...I can't.....
So, I had been searching for a solution for this.
Thankfully, I found it at last.

It is not Blogspot problem, but SingNet. I found out at the Blogger forum that all people who have got the same problem are from Singapore and using SingNet. It sucks. Hope SingNet will solve its problem very soon...

Luckily, a user has provided a solution and it really works for me. This made my day.
He has posted about it on his own blog.
Ones who have the same problem can check his post and try to fix it.

OK! Now I can blog again :)

Traveled to 17 cities in the last 25 days. Non-stop performances, but I'm always happy singing and my voice is in good shape because of it. Sometimes I forget it's so important for musicians to regularly perform live! Was in Paris last week for a friend's wedding. What a lovely city! J'adore Paris, la rive gauche est tellement belle!

這三個星期去了17個城市。很開心不斷得演唱，因為歌喉被訓練到較好的狀況。音樂人還是該多做點現場演出是真的！上禮拜在巴黎參加朋友的婚禮。那城市實在太美。。。

Beijing MUSIC-MAN Concert Press Conference was broadcast live this afternoon. But live broadcasting stopped before the press conference finished. Lee Hom looks great :) I've printed screen of him and Ice-Bahamut.

He was impressed by the Ice-Bahamut :)

Lee Hom said many guitar collectors have requested the designer Alistair for a duplicate Bahamut. But he refused since the Bahamut is the one and only in the world....(And also, its master will always be the one and only Lee Hom :)

有点嘻哈的味道，但灵感来自刚出道时流行的六拍国语歌。很有气质。有一段时间已经绝种了。让他有一点嘻哈的味道。英文歌里这种不会出现在流行音乐。

摇滚：旋律和歌词方面都是中文的走法。不是英文的走法，不是像把英文歌翻成中文那种感觉。歌词会带动整个编曲和演唱的方式。
比如: "爱得得体" 用比较喊的方式，用比较爆的方式来诠释。唱法以词导向。

国语歌很特别，为什么在演唱会大家都会跟你一起唱，这是一种音乐的互动。英文歌不一定，哪有人在台下所有观众都跟着一起唱，没有这回事。

No reason to pay attention to you:
灵感很直接，真的是直接呐喊出来。歌的旋律不像一个旋律。。。
完全。。。没有。。。就是这样，气到。。。用头音，头部的发声唱的，是很高的真音。觉得是一种发泄。
在家写的时候，先想到这一句话，讲出来的时候是很爽的。所有的音乐就自然而然就进来了。就拿起了吉他就开始弹了。
副歌和编曲是很快。主歌部分在想你到底在骂谁？骂是很爽的。。。
那个“你”，主歌要给个交代。要负责任。

在中文的领域寻找新的听觉。

What's wrong with rock:
听很多 70 年代的摇滚音乐的架构。有了很多不同的灵感，然后写了这首歌。就是如何把琵琶跟吉他设计在一起，让他不突兀。

玩偶:
没有很刻意把中国的元素放进去。但是旋律的走法是从 “天涯歌女”得到的灵感。第二句突然专 key 可是还是在同一个五音阶 scale（宫、商、角、征、羽）。用同一个巧思写玩偶。有一个巧妙的专 key 的部分。

音乐有些时候要有灵感，但很多时候要很理性地做一些拆解，观察。要了解架构。

最近，有好多感触。

从前的我

我，曾经失败过很多次。每一次失败过后又朝另外一个目标前进。
可是，仔细想想失败的原因，还不是应为自己不够勤奋，往往半途而废。
有理想抱负，但并没有积极实现自己的梦想。如果别人对我说这些话，我可能会不高兴。
但，我自己很清楚自己，不得不承认。

向来，朋友和同学们会觉得我很有个性、很聪明(这是他们的错觉)。他们很看得起我。
在我记忆里，从小学开始在班上很自然地就会得到老师的疼爱和同学们的尊敬与爱戴。
尽管每天回家会听到长辈们为鸡皮蒜毛的事吵架，尽管我成长的环境并没有那么平静，尽管当时我被家人管得严到喘不过气，现在看回当时的我，我还是觉得我是一个幸福的小孩 (虽然当时我并不这么认为) 。

目前的我

今天，我一个人在一个大商场毫无目的地走了一会儿。。。心里在想好多事情。。。
忽然对一些词语有些不解。。。
生活、瓶颈、磨炼、理想、迷茫、孤独、幸福、

现在的我比以前更爱家人、更成熟、有原则、有自己的想法。。。如果这是我的优点的话，我希望我能善用我的优点来为家人、为社会、为自己做些什么。首先要做的应该是不再想太多，先让勤奋成为自己的另一个优点吧！

Recently, besides blogging, I am spending insane amount of time on uploading video clips to Youtube that I never did before. I began doing this after I happened to find some interesting and hilarious Lee Hom's old video clips, which are not yet on Youtube. For some overseas Homies, they are not that familiar with some China websites and like to find stuff from Youtube. Just to share with Homies those must-see clips, I am spending almost all my free time on that....

The whole day, I am staring at the computer screen both at work and at home.

At work, I am sitting in front of the soulless computer screen and doing my typical tedious paper work in a dreary working environment.

Oddly enough, the first thing I do after I go back home is turning on my laptop.....

My life can't be without computer, more correctly, without computer with internet access.

At home, my computer becomes the most precious thing in the world.

Uploading videos.....many Youtube users are doing this...but why it takes much time and effort for me???

* I need to find out the data of Lee Hom's earlier time performance and TV programmes.

* Then, try to find the specific video clips from various sources...And, it really needs patience. (Pitifully, for some old TV programmes, the clips couldn't be found.)

* After that, try to download the clips to my computer. (Sometimes, it failed.)

* I will be very satisfied if I can manage to do step 3. Editing the downloaded clips will be the next step.....dividing the clips, cutting some unwanted parts like commercials or non-Lee Hom stuff, combining the cut parts, and so on. (Youtube videos can't be longer than 10 mins.)

* Final step: uploading to Youtube and sharing with people. (At times, internet connection drives me crazy.)

Today, I received a message from a Hom's fan from HK asking me if I could send her all my uploaded clips. I wish I could helped her; but normally I delete the videos after uploading and watching to prevent my computer from overloading. Some clips are still in my hard disc; but the file size is too big to be sent online. Sorry for being not able to help....

这篇日志来自于一位宏迷的网路日志《力宏來看祥祥》的读后感。。。

才华、学识、智慧、勤奋、修养、气质、原则、热诚、爱心、诚意。。。无一不有的完美结合体 --- 力宏
越了解他，越让人无法不为他疯狂，无法不崇拜他、敬佩他。。。
有时，会感叹：世上还会有第二个像他这么完美的人吗？
(这里所说的完美是指内敛的。。。不列入他的丢三拉四的习惯喔！)

我目前生活周遭的朋友和同事里力宏的歌迷很少，但他们都知道我很崇拜他。他们有时会跟我说，我在作白日梦（我也不太清楚他们所指的白日梦是什么）。或会说迷偶像就是这样，过一段时间就会换另一个明星。或还会说因为我喜欢力宏，所以会觉得力宏样样都很棒。。。好浮浅的一些说法。只能说他们太不了解我了。我从来不奢望大家来了解我，但不了解就请别乱下结论麻。。。（好！废话少说，转入正题）

这一篇日志会很长，不是我要写很长的文章，而是要转载一些许多事件中的两件事的报道和文章。它足够能让读者完完全全感受到力宏的爱心和真诚。我不得不佩服他的那颗很真的心，绝对不会敷衍了事的态度。是如今社会上少有的、是我们应该学习的。

我今天看到力宏了, 而且他就在我身邊

上禮拜開始在小兒科, 同學跟我說, 我的小病人跟你一樣也喜歡力宏喔！
我聽了極興奮, 竟然有同好, 於是就帶著我手邊力宏的收藏品, 常常找祥祥一起聽, 一起看
祥祥對節奏特別有感覺, 我想他血液裡一定留著某種搖滾的靈魂,
哈哈,這張專輯中, 最能令他搖頭晃腦的音樂, 就是完美的互動, 蓋世英雄和在梅邊, 他喜愛的風格, 很鮮明吧

今天, 就是今天, 不知道是水果日報之前報導的關係, 還是醫院社服姊姊的關係,
總之, 我的小病人家祥, 見到了他每天惦念的偶像---王力宏
而對我來說, 今天下午的一切, 到現在還覺得很不像真的...

我今天是以照顧祥祥的見習醫師身份在裡面的,
所以從在走道, 進病房, 病房內的聊天,
從本來很擁擠的一堆人, 到後來只剩下力宏 + 祥祥 + 祥祥外婆 + 專師學姐 + 社工姐姐時, 我都在裡面喔

力宏真的是一個很有教養的大男生
從進病房前, 他就很細心的問我們有什麼是該注意的, 還有祥祥現在的情況, 接下去的治療
而且他都有做功課, 知道之前做過什麼療程, 接下來 BMT 的配對情況, 還知道這禮拜要動的手術, 當然外婆的名字也都細心的先背下來
他也細心的提到, 是不是不要那麼多攝影機一起進去, 因為怕嚇到祥祥

進去之後, 他就像大哥哥一樣, 開心的和祥祥打招呼
然後, 就出現令我也很想要的禮物
他準備了三件禮物
第一件是一頂卡車司機帽, 上面繪有有上張 "竹林深處" 風格的竹子, 在加上親筆寫下對於祥祥鼓勵的話
(真是湊巧, 上週末祥祥的外婆還在那邊說, 夏天到了, 該換頂帽子了)
而且, 不知道該不該透漏, 力宏一件到祥祥, 就對他說, 你把頭髮剃掉戴上這頂帽子, 很酷喔,
"再過幾個月, 我拍的那部戲中, 我也會把頭髮剃成像你一樣喔"
第二件禮物, 好幸福喔, 力紅帶了一個漢堡狀的CD盒, 裡面裝滿從第一張到現在的每一張CD,VCD,DVD, 連日文的, 單曲的都有
而且, 還很貼心的用另一個袋子把CD殼子裝在裡面
(祥祥現在收藏比我齊全了啦!)
第三件禮物, 是兩隻可愛的玩偶, 據說是力宏小時候喜歡的人物 (其實應該是動物,我猜是某個卡通吧)
這麼用心的準備這些禮物, 真替祥祥開心

接下來的時間中, 力宏和祥祥一起隨著播放的 CD,DVD 唱歌,
哇哈哈, 繼演唱會之後, 完全Live現場版
力宏就是力宏! 轉音, 節奏, 音色... 就是一整個棒
祥祥應該是看到這麼多人, 害羞吧, 一直不敢直視力宏, 連放DVD時, 也不敢看就在旁邊的力宏, 而只盯著螢幕上的力宏
但是, 我覺得力宏真的很貼心, 他一直主動找話題,
還發現祥祥渴了, 站起來就往桌子走去, 說要幫祥祥服務, 倒水給他喝

祥祥發現力宏的背包內有一台 NB (哈哈, 是力宏的歌迷一定都看過那個很大的黑色背包, 也知道裡面裝的是力宏創作音樂用的蘋果電腦)
然後, 想不到力宏馬上就把他拿出來給祥祥玩
裡面有好多音樂, 除了力宏自己的創作, 還有一些滿 hip-hop, 或是 rock 的作品
最妙的應該是祥祥, 他說要玩遊戲,
結果力宏也很可愛, 他說他這個老人用的電腦裡面沒有遊戲耶, 找了找, 只有下棋(=.='')

詳細的內容我不應該說太多的, 因為從一開始我就知道我今天的身份
暫時不是支持力宏, 喜歡力宏十一年的歌迷, 而是照顧祥祥的clerk
力宏问有關於祥祥的醫療問題時, 我就把我所知的加以解答
不過, 言談中, 無意間提到我有去小巨蛋的演唱會
然後, 最後最後, 我拿出準備很久的生日卡片給他, 預祝他下禮拜生日快樂

(2)提前來馬償骨癌歌迷心願王力宏低調不失幽默 （吉隆坡訊）

週六晚將在大馬開唱的王力宏，原本乘週五下午班機抵馬，但在獲知1名患癌歌迷鳳鳳通過《星洲日報》傳達了和他見面的意願後，為了完成鳳鳳的心願，力宏特地更改機票，提早1天來馬，而且一下機就直驅醫院。

他這次探訪歌迷是低調行事，不希望被渲染成宣傳手法，所以《星洲娛樂》及《大都會》記者與攝影都配合他的要求，只在病房內拍照及筆錄現場情況，不欲對院方造成困擾。

因同樣患上骨癌而在醫院成為好友的鳳鳳及燕芳，在王力宏一抵步就親切問候說“你們好嗎？”那一刻，一時緊張得不知該如何回應。

力宏見到兩人在翻閱《大都會》有關她們的報導時，也很有興趣的跟著一起看，試圖使氣氛輕鬆的他，還自嘲說：“我不是很會看吶！”過後還彬彬有禮的和在場的兩位媽媽握手問候。

鳳鳳這時拿出CD封套要求力宏簽名，在旁的教會傳道士許丹翔叫鳳鳳多和力宏說話，她害羞的表示“不敢，很怕！”

演唱會製作單位銀河娛樂工作人員拿出《王力宏不可思議大馬演唱會》限量版T恤，要力宏簽名後送給鳳鳳，讓力宏笑說“這T恤我也沒看過呢！”力宏後來更送上《唯一》琴譜給鳳鳳，還細心的向她講解內容。

主動親近

許丹翔對鳳鳳說：“你不是很想抱抱力宏嗎？”鳳鳳羞澀的表示：“不要，很怕。”讓王力宏說道：“小朋友害羞，大哥哥不會。”然後馬上行動，坐在她及燕芳身後，搭著她們的肩膀合照。

王力宏後來更拿出自己的數碼相機，拍下3人的合照留念。

王力宏在知道和骨癌博鬥的兩人都是16歲時，說道“和我弟弟一樣。”燕芳問說，“他有像你一樣帥嗎？”後來還說力宏和電視上看來不一樣，讓力宏幽默的回應“我是派來的替身啊！”

他後來更以開玩笑的口吻問她們可有男朋友，還叫她們在醫院物色呢！鳳鳳也反問力宏可有女朋友，力宏則笑著：“在音樂裡找女朋友！”

當王力宏知道燕芳是孫燕姿的歌迷，很希望有機會見孫燕姿一面時，更表示：“我會和燕姿說，希望她有時間也能來探望你。”

王力宏臨走前，一直羞澀不多話的鳳鳳，對力宏表示：“很開心你能來。”燕芳更預祝力宏演唱會成功。

精神上無限支持

王力宏特地提早1天來馬，以完成患癌歌迷鳳鳳欲見他一面的心願，這份愛心讓人感動。王力宏卻輕描淡寫的表示：“我只能在精神上支持她們，如果我可以做到的話，我自己也很開心。”

王力宏逗留15分鐘離開病房後，記者尾隨身後問他的感想，他的心思仍在兩位病患者的身上，向助理表示，他只準備了禮物給鳳鳳，問助理能否把自己的宣傳照拿來，待會兒送給燕芳留念。交待完畢，才轉身回答記者的問題。

談到他對其他癌症病患者有何寄語時？他表示，“她們兩位都很棒，她們對生命的熱情、珍惜生活的態度，值得我們學習，我希望其他的病人都像她們一樣樂觀、積極。我甚麼也不能做，只能給她們精神上的鼓勵。我很開心自己可以完成她們的心願。”

我倾斜了身体，一下子撞见电脑旁的那张照片，被细心地裱了框，放在萤幕旁很安稳的角落。。。照片上是力宏和一名女子灿烂地笑着。

永恒的定格

她是凤凤。
早在与力宏见面前，全马来西亚的人就几乎都知道她……那个生命的女勇士，在身患骨癌的过程中，还继续奋斗而且乐观面对的女生。

在媒体披露凤凤的偶像是力宏之后，力宏马上就承诺了那个见面的邀约。

两人相见的那一刻，完全看不出她正面对的磨难和苦痛，她灿烂的笑容，胜过任何一个健康的人，可以分享的热情和温度。

“谢谢你。” 凤凤很开心的对力宏说。

“你要加油噢！”那是力宏对她的鼓励，但其实他知道这句话很多余，因为她本来就是一个勇敢的女生，甚至比他更坚强。而她除了勇敢面对，更没有放弃所有在这个年纪的女生一样的热情和纯真------她也有一个欣赏的人，而且她像那些女生一样渴望，跟心爱的人，见上一面。

当力宏在马来西亚的歌迷会，正如火如荼的发起一个 “帮助凤凤” 的基金会的时候，凤凤走了。
力宏用了一个很中国的“走”字------我知道那对受西方教育的他来说是一个新字，却像所有用这个字的人一样尊敬与不舍……

凤凤知道吗？

也许当传媒都已经逐渐淡却、遗忘了这个新闻与话题的时候，那张合照还被力宏留在身边，放在最心爱录音室的电脑荧幕旁……我没有问力宏关于这个位置的意义。因为我觉得太私人，而且关于那种不舍与难以割舍的分享，我觉得真正说出来，回很可惜很可惜……。那本来就是一个只属于凤凤和力宏的故事。

她真的很勇敢，如果你当时也看见了，其实照片没有拍到的下半身------就算真的摄取全景也永远无法办到的……，因为癌细胞的蔓延，当时的凤凤已经失去了她的双褪。

力宏说他永远不会忘记这个勇敢的女生。
我相信凤凤一定也知道了。
